Does Hinge allow AI photos?
Hinge’s rules ask that your photos represent you. TrueLook photos are made from your own selfies and keep your face, so they show you in different settings. Check Hinge’s current guidelines, since rules can change.
Will TrueLook photos pass Hinge selfie verification?
Usually, yes. Hinge compares a video selfie with your profile photos, and TrueLook keeps your face recognizable. Hinge makes the final decision, so it cannot be guaranteed.
What makes a good Hinge profile photo?
A clear photo of your face to lead with, then a full-body photo and a few that show what you do, such as travel, food or the outdoors. Pair photos with prompts so people have something specific to comment on.
Can I use the same photos on Tinder and Bumble?
Yes. The photos are ordinary image files you download, so you can upload them to any dating app.

Do the photos look like me?
They are made to. TrueLook keeps your facial features, skin tone and expression and changes the setting, outfit and lighting. Results depend on your selfies: clear, well-lit photos of the same face give the closest likeness. Not every photo in a batch will be a match, so keep the ones that look like you and delete the rest.
Can people tell the photos are AI-generated?
TrueLook aims for photos that look like ordinary phone photos, with natural skin texture and lighting rather than a smooth, airbrushed finish. Some generated photos will look less natural than others; skip those.
Privacy and pricing
Are my selfies private?
Yes. TrueLook does not use your selfies or generated photos to train, fine-tune or evaluate any AI model, and does not share them with other users or advertisers. Only you can see them, through your account, and you can delete any photo from your dashboard at any time; deleted photos are permanently removed from storage.
How much does TrueLook cost?
There are two one-time packs, paid through Stripe. The Fix Pack is $29 once for up to 30 photos. The Pro Pack is $49 once for up to 140 photos. Both include all 43 styles. There is no subscription: you pay once, nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. Each photo uses one credit, and each style makes 4 photos. If you need more, buy a one-time top-up: 20 photos for $12 or 60 for $25. There is no free trial, but the photo check before you buy is free.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, if you meet all of the refund policy’s conditions: you ask within 14 days of purchase, you have used less than 20% of your credits, and your TrueLook photos were on a live dating profile for at least 7 days in a row with a search radius of 50 km or more and an age range of at least 19 years. Your selfies must also meet the upload guidelines. Email support@truelook.app with your order number. The full conditions are on the refund policy page.
